Thanks, but nobody around here does antique auto appraisals..

Did you happen to look at the list you gave me? 75% of them are jewelry.. Not to mention 99% of the people that see the car have no idea what they're looking at.

I was thinking more along the lines of a "rough estimate" I could find possibly online..

Go to a bigger city then. And since you have an imported Z, it's going to be even harder for them to appraise.

A rough estimate? Between $1 and $100,000.

a rough estimate, look for similar cars for sale, a 2+2 S130 isn't worth a whole lot even with the wteering wheel on the wrong side, $500-$5000 is the closer estimate, for a really nice clean rust free fully functional car it could get up to $10k, for a real absolute cherry with way less miles than yours might get north of $10k, $20k si the highest I've heard of for an S130 and that was like a new car with under 1000 miles on the car!

AZ-Zbum... you were much help, thanks for all your knowledge and input! Why even reply to the thread with comments like that?

Anyway..

This thing is in awesome shape, no rust, no stains or rips in the interior, no cracks in the dash, etc... 63k Kilometers is only like 39k miles, I didnt think it was much anyway. Runs and drives awesome, shifts great. Oh well, I'm not looking to sell it, just curious..

Ask stupid questions, get stupid answers.

"'79 Nissan Fairlady Z (2+2 L20): Imported in '84, 63k Original Kilometers"

No mention of condition or anything in the question. So the answer I gave is very valid.

Now why didn't you say that in the first post in this thread? Wouldn't that have been the SMART thing to do?

You win.. You're smart, I'm dumb. I'm not going to continue on with your nonsense, please move on.
