Whatsup all fellow 240 owners. Im popping my cherry with this post here. Im new to this message board, so take it easy on me.

Ive searched and searched through these boards for my question, gave up and decided to just post it.

I am currently running a stock N/A KA motor in my 95. I like the Apex-i N1. I am planning on doing the SR swap in march. Heres my question...

If I buy the N1 now, N/A KA version, will it bolt up the same to the turbo SR? My buddy has the N1 and told me with the SR go GT-Spec. What do you suggest? Buy and mount the N1 now? or hold off and go GT Spec in a couple months?

Thanks guys

I would go with Dual N1's if you want a good exhaust for N/A and SR...

the thing is, if I buy and install now, the N1 (single, i dont like the dual look), on the n/a KA, will it bolt up the same to the SR? Or should i just hold off til the SR?

I have a GT Spec on my natural asp 240sx. With the silencer on, it sounds great. It's not too loud. I would go with the GT Spec, because it is 100% stainless steel, where as the N1 only have a stainless steel muffler. It is perfect for an sr20det swap. This exhaust was made for the sr20det, and it bolted right up to my KA. So, I would think that any exhaust would fit both engines. I highly recommend the GT Spec. It's funny how people react to the pipe size when they get under your car. It's huge! It looks very similar to the N1, which is what you like anyways. I don't like the dual N1 either. Looks kinda goofy. If anyone tells you that the piping will be too big and you'll lose power, that is a lie. The bigger the piping, the better the exhaust flow. I noticed the power gains myself. Get the GT Spec. That's my two pennies.

Thanks man. I appreciate the straight forward answer. Yea, ive read/heard that the bigger the pipe on an NA exhaust, the more power you lose with loss of backpressure. But, seeing as how theyre gonna bolt up to either motor, looks like im buying a GT Spec...... Thanks
