I was wondering if anyone has tried out the "APC Super White H4 bulbs" for their headlights? Does anyone know if they are decent bulbs?

Also,.... do 100/90 watt bulbs damage your cars electrical stuff? The CAUTION on the side of the box says "Severe Dammage to your behicle is possible with the use of a high wattage bulb".

:help

I don't think you'll find anyone on here that would admit to it.:) APC is wrong, and noone should buy the crap they make.

But, yes the bulbs could damage your headlight wiring harness and or relay. The stock harness wasn't made to handle the higher draw of high wattage bulbs.

Screw APC (American Piece of Crap), if you want bulbs the only way to go is PIAA.

should I do something before installing the new bulbs? or can I get away with it?

What would I need to do, to make sure my electrical is NOT dammaged?

Umm... don't get anything APC, and to avoid damage, get higher output electrical, presumably.

would it be better to spend $75 on APC bulbs and higher wattage electrical kit

or just spend about $75 on some decent fog/driving lights that have simulated HID?

Do you live in a black hole which requires you to have more light than a normal set of headlights can provide? Do you find that your highbeams are sucked into the gravitational vortex? Is that why you want more light? I'm just kidding man. I myself needed replacement bulbs and instead of getting stock units i went with the "Cool Blue" version for the same price (i think). They aren't actually blue, but more of a super white bulb. They look noticably whiter then stock and light up the road pretty well.

I would go for the PIAA if I didn't have to buy a whole friggin kit to keep it from screwing over my electrical stuff....

I totally believe you that PIAA is a great brand.

of course I can......but the million dollar question is will it damage anything? from what people are saying, theres a chance it will. I don't want to be replacing fried strange looking parts I know nothing about and that are most likely expensive.....

Whats so bad about APC anyways? do they burn out in 2 months or are they just not bright? If anything they're better then yellow stock, right?
