Has anyone found the way to solve the loudness of the CVT? Anytime I have the windows rolled down, people think it’s my rotors it’s so loud, and just makes the car sound bad.

If not is there any tranny swaps I can do or something around that nature that removes that noise?

Are you sure it's the tranny making the noise? Brake rotor-like noises are usually from a bad alternator clutch or bad bearings on something on the drive belt. The only noises a healthy CVT makes are hum from the stepper motor and whine from the differential, and neither one is usually very loud.

Could you post an audio clip of the sound?

Bad wheel bearings are loud too! CVT is not loud.

Yeah! Found out about wheel bearings on an Altima. LOL! Bought used 2010, dealer said engine "roar" was "normal" for a Nissan engine. "People liked to hear the engine roar in the cabin back in 2010" After I got it home, was so concerned that it wasn't normal, and feared a CVT going out, so ran it over to my mechanic, and it was BOTH front wheel bearings/spindles ate up! AT 118K!!!! Unbelievable!!! Got three Toyota's with between 200K and 400K on them, and NEVER had a wheel bearing replaced! With steering gear, tie rod ends, struts and CV axles, this Altima has had more front end work than every car I've owned in 45 years put together!
