Why sell it at all? Save it for your kid. You'll never be able to buy acollectible like that as cheaply in the future, even if it is a fair weather only vehicle...

heh, it's a perfect weather only vehicle, and I don't have a huge amount of choice in the matter. : (

Hey daunt, Just curious. Instead of posting in the 240 boards where were we dont have 50k laying around, and if we did we would have very bad *** 240s. Did you try to post in a corvette forum? Maybe youll get some old guys attention, and he will want to buy it.

yea, I know my dad would be interested. But we dont have the space right now, and my mom would kill him. We have a boat, taurus, cadilac, van to pull boat, my 240, and my intergra. Our garage, and driveway is filled up. Hope you get someone to buy it.

Is it your car or your Dads? I don't know your situation but from a child's view, I still have regrets when my father sold his old Ferrari. I couldn't afford to keep it at the time he sold it. But it only took a few short years before I could afford to maintain it properly. But by then the car had appreciated to the point that I can't afford to buy it back. It would be a fun to have, but I'm likely getting a 350Z next...Good luck.
