Anyone upgraded navigation cd's?

Has anyone with the Pathfinder/QX4 upgraded their navigation cd's? Any appreciable difference? Mine are from 2002 and before I spend all that $ for the 2004 from Zenrin, I want to know if it will help. Overall, the system is decent, but the maps are their serious shortcoming.Also, does anyone know of any Forest Service trails (or any other trails) map cd's that will work with this system?
