Considering doing the now famous Weber-swap.

Question is: Will it smog in California, when setup as per instructed. I read in Smyrna720's post about a guy who said the jetting from .60 and .50 up to .70 and .60 makes it peppier, but the first setup is to conform to EPA standards.

Which leads me to: If it will smog with the stock Weber setup, can you just change at will, and has anybody done this?

Thanks!

Sorry for the long response, man. I actually don't have much of an answer, however. The reason I say this is because the Weber is technically illegal by all CA standards. Now, can it still pass emissions? My guess would be yes, but you would need a very well functioning cat. As far as jetting, it is all a game of the right air to fuel mix. Of course, too much fuel is going to give you a very high CO2 number, but go too lean and run too hot and you'll see NOX gases through the roof. It's all relative. Oxygen levels where you live + timing + mods = different needs when tuning a carb. Hope that helps in some way.
