can you even smog a car that only runs in reverse? i heard all dyno/smog stuff is run in fourth

there was an episode of CHiPs where they pulled over a guy in a pickup who was going down the freeway in reverse. he said it wouldn't shift into drive and he couldn't be late to work, so he drove it in reverse. i think they gave him a ticket.

LOL, life according to CHiP's. Because if it's in the show, its the LAW. I used to watch chips everyday religuosly.
