Anyone in the market for JDM KYB shocks?

ALL Infiniti-specific parts for sale should be listed here.

Gauging interest here as I'd rather sell to people here than on FB.

All items are for 97-01 Q45s

I have KYB Lowfer shocks (compete set) with maybe 100 miles on them.
Set of KYB SR Specials set. About 1000 miles on those.
Also a set of Espilir lowerings springs that will be up for sale shortly.

Feel free to reply here or PM me if you're interested. Reason for getting rid of, I thought I wanted a softer ride but these are too soft especially with low profile tires. Again, this isn't a for sale ad per say but more gauging interest here because I like you people more haha

Ludeam, can you elaborate on the issues you're having with the KYB shocks?

I know its ridiculous when there are about 10 of us active in the Q45 forum.

No issues per say but the ride felt floaty to me. The spring rate is only 10% or so stiffer than the OEM shocks but I wasn't a fan of the rebound feeling. Could this be part of the used top hats I put on? Perhaps but there is nothing wrong (leaks or blown) with the setup.

I'm not super satisfied with the ride from the SR Specials either and I'm on stock wheels and tires. To me they feel stiff and harsh over broken pavement. Especially from the rear end i can nearly feel every line on the road. But then i can also feel it rebound over speed bumps like its gonna bottom out. I don't know if could be bushings or what but it doesn't feel right.
I have problems with the tophats too and mine were brand new KYB. Somehow the LF isolator got wallered out where the flat spot on the shock shaft goes through it, and it makes noise now.
The KYB parts are pieces of s*** honestly. So close to being good but they just dont fit together right.
