I need new brake pads desperately and was looking through Stillen. They have a stock size brake kit for around $200 which is pretty decent.

Anybody have any experience with Stillen brakes ???

Brake kit meaning? Cross-drilled rotors and ceramic pads? If so, $200 is about right. I ran them on my old SE-R and it was a pretty good upgrade for the price. Under extreme braking you won't get brake fade and for $200, it's well worth it.

Yes cross drilled (maybe slotted) rotors. Glad to hear

I just went to stillen and picked up some rotors and got free pads! Once my car comes out of the shop I am going to install those.

I just replaced all four rotors with the stillen sport cross drilled rotors w/ metal matrix brake pads that were free with the purchase.

Only had them on for the last 50kms or so...so not feeling a significant difference yet...still bedding them in and taking it easy on the brakes....they aren't as sensitive as before...seems like i have to depress the pedal a lil farther..hopefully it will be much better once the bedding is complete. I believe I'm experiencing green fade because of the new pads.

I'll post pics when I can..they look great behind my rims.

For those of you replacing your pads and rotors, here is a very insightful and helpful website I've come across...

Update, now that the brakes are bedded in a bit there is a much better bite and are more sensitive than before.

I just took advantage of the sale that they have going on today for the brakes and they even hooked it up with the brake lines!

BIG ups to Stillen!.... Now i just need to go over and get them.

I just installed front and rear rotors with pads. Painted my calipers and went with steel lines and AP fluid. Still breaking them in but so far driving around the neighbor hood same as or better then OEM. Looks 10x better, less heat, less brake dust, should be more stopping power.

I think when you are upgrading to the same size brakes but having them slotted and/or drilled I think you shouldn't go into expecting some great performance, I think you only get that with a bigger brake kit with better calipers with more pistons as such. You should go into it just knowing you will have some real badass looking brakes. At least that is how i am going to think of it when I go to upgrade to them.

Speaking of badass looking brakes, I quickly snapped pics before I had my winter tires w/steelies go on!
