wouldnt have a coi if you paid me-not enough horsepower gained
and just invites more dirt into the MAF in my opinion

I've bought the Injen for my Maxima 98... The sound is amazing on WOT but I didn't feel any performance gains with it, just more noise when WOT as I said. Using the car in normal driving style there's no sound difference from the stock air box.

Regards!

Yeah I've got a "short ram" on my quest with a massive MAF sensor adaptor and I noticed an improvement in hp and mpg but I'm not sure it'll be worth it to switch to a cold air.

Nice! May be worth it just for the sound lol. They're only about $50 shipped on eBay.

No Sir. It`s not the 50 USD Ebay ones... I bought on Amazon.com @ 261USD, it`s all made in Aluminum and fit exactly for the car.

Yeah.... I'm not gonna spend $261 on an intake for my 94 mini van. I'm sure this one would work just fine.... However....

I think I'll probably just buy this to replace the crapy black plastic piece between the MAF and the throttle body.

Joe, for sure both kits will also works if you cannot spend 200+ dollars in a CAI.

I did that coz Injen is not sold in Brazil ( where I live ), and a friend of mine was in USA an asked me if I want that CAI, I didn`t think about that and the answer was GET IT FAST!

I could also buy on Ebay those kit, but, keep in mind that the first one you have posted, you will need to open a 3.25 inches hole near your battery to put the Filter there...

Best Regards.

Yeah to put the filter in the fender well. I believe I'll also have to trim the battery tray.
