Or am I just one of the lucky ones to have problems? Mine generally don't get all too warm at all.. half the time I cant tell if they are working a little or its just my own body heat that makes them feel warm. But every now and then they really heat up.. like to the point of having to switch them to low so my pants dont catch fire. I actually went so far as to take the module apart and the switch is working properly and the module seems to be outputting like it should (giving 12v or so when on high) the element also has a good ground and the module is turning on and off like it should on high to prevent overheating.. even when they don't get hot (Im assuming its on a timed circuit instead of using a temp sensor) Any way I'm leaning to a broken element in the seats (both do the same thing) but I was just wondering if maybe there was something else going on that happens in the cars.

I use to think that my seats were iffy as well, it's probably just in our minds though, I think it depends on how cold it is outside.

I lubs mine..Although the passenger side gets much warmer than the drivers.I'm assuming thats because the driver side has been used much more.

On a frosty morning its great to have the seats warmed up and the outside mirrors defrosted before I hit the road.

The most common "fixable" problem I've seen with heated seats over the years not working is the switch. Once its replaced the seat will work again. If that won't fix it, then its something else.

My seat heaters are kinda weird. I'll turn it on and notice nothing for minutes then suddenly, after I've forgot I turned the thing on, my *** is burning.

I use to have that problem with the seat heaters in my old Audi. A few years after I got rid of it, there was a class action lawsuit. Some people had actually gotten seriously burned by Audi heated seats.

Guess it's all relative. Where Yoda and I are from, snow is hardley ever seen let alone "real" snow.
