Any these parts they want to sell for a reasonable price?1.60mm throttle body off a 240sx2.Z31 Ecu and wire harness3.A encoder disc from a Z31 distributor4.T4 turbo

If anyone has any these and is wanting to get rid of them let me know...

I can get you that wiring harness if one from an 87 2+2 is okay. Friend of mine has a spare distributor I'm sure he'd be willing to part with. Do you need a NA or turbo ECU?

looks like someone wants to do the Z31 ecu swap onto an S130 ZXT

the lest leaves me with questions, if you want a T4 that implies you want big power, in which case the stock injectors form the Z31 turbo won't cut it, which means you'll need the ecu fomr an 87-89 that can be remapped or tuned with nistune, conzult or similar to use largere injectors

and the 2+2 n/a engine harness should be the same as all the other enginne harnesses, the chassis harnesses got all the wiring changes

So if i do get the Z31 ecu...i still will need to get it re-tuned?

Tight man...you should ask your friend about the distributor for me

and i would need the turbo ecu, and i'm looking for a Z31 MAF if your friend has one of those

if you want to run a T4 turbo the stock Z31 turbo injectors can't flow enough fuel to feed such a large turbo, so taht means you need larger than stock Z31 injectors, and if you want to run loarger than stock injectors then yes you have to have the ecu remapped, and if you want to remap an ecu it's my understanding that you need an 87-89 turbo or nto doesn't matter as it'll be remapped to work with the larger injectors

if you decide to run the stock T3 (from the VG or the L28 they are about the same sixe but the S130 is a direct fit) with the stock Z31 turbo injectors then the stock Z31 turbo ecu will be fine

oh gotcha...i'll probably just run the t3 on there for now then get a t4 in the future since i'm on a tight budget

I got a friend who is parting an 87NA, I'll check if the MAF is taken or not.

evildky, I think that all the Z31 ECUs can be chipped for Nistune now. At least, I seem to remember reading some posts to that point on z31p. He would want to confirm that before buying the ECU though.

I could be wrong but I thought the 84-86 was obd 0 which si nto compatible and 87-89 was obd1 which is? where is az zbum when you need him?

I just checked on the Nistune site, and they can do all the Z31's

Z31 300ZX (VG30E, VG30ET) 1984-1985, 1986, 1987-1989

I found a z31 ECU, and MAF with the wire harness,and the encoder disc...but it's on Ebay...what do you guys think, is it a safe buy? It's like $150

I have bought and sold many parts on ebay, check otu your seller, lots of good parts and sellers on ebay, but there are some bad ones to look out for as well

it's toward the bottom of the page.
