Because some people have more hobbies than just cars.

Also today my parents found my brothers old pair of baby Jordan VI's.

Late response. My store is in Boise, ID. They make so many special edition 574's that I don't even get to see all of them. I drooled over the family mart 574 in our CA show room awhile back.

looks like sneakers are becoming more popular than ever now. i'm kind of an "oldskool shoehead" ...well i started in '03 (although not that old but it feels like it) and had been through a few heat here and there jordans and nikes, etc.

i actually sold a few pairs to support my new car hobby, and i plan to sell off everything eventually down to maybe 3 pairs i truly want to keep forever and save that money.

if people want i could upload more pictures but this is what i can find uploaded for now...(btw the top 2 shoes were sold to pay off my manual swap which costed around 1200$, the bottom left were sold for around 800$, and i still have the last one waiting for them to go up even more )

They are freaking tennis shoes.

Its not like we are discussing the hottest kind of black leather pumps that your girlfriend wears to bed when she wants to get busy. Now a thread about those kind of shoes just might get my interest but a bunch of guys sitting around talking about tennis shoes?

Meh.

Bring on the hot "come puck me" shoes with sex appeal and pictures of girlfriend wearing them and you might not get as razzed:

Nice Tiffs, Dunkles, and Supremes are freaking fire. Too bad you sold them though.

Is anybody here liking the Be True To Your School Vintage Dunks? I might pick up the NC's or Syracuses unless Ferris Buellers come out or I might get Jordan V's.

So, I'd mentioned on page 2 that I won a pair of NB 574TEK's on eBay.

I had never seen this colorway before, and they were marked "limited edition", so I figured they might be somewhat uncommon.

Apparently this ain't the half of it. I emailed New Balance asking them about the shoes and they said that the production run was only from 5/1/06 to 5/15/06. They were only produced for FIFTEEN DAYS!

I mean, stuff like ST33's and whatnot are produced even less, but this seemed neat to me because they appear to have sort of flown under the radar. Even people at crooked tongues and the guy who runs NB Blog hasn't ever seen them or heard of them.

I finally got the package from the eBay seller and they're hella fresh. The materials quality is really good, although it's not quite an ST33.

I'm re-emailing NB right now to try to get some more info out of them in regards to what kind of "limited edition" this was, and if there were any other colorways that were a part of it.

Here's a pic again for reference:

Indeed it's not bad but I still don't have that much, haha. My next pair are going to be J's or SB's so I have to save for those.

Yeah those look pretty hot but I'm waiting on Ferris Buellers. Looks like there's going to be lots of hype on them so I need to cop quick.

That's the best part. $26 + shipping. w00t.

I would grab some family marts on Zappos but I've bought SO much other crap recently....I need to take it easy. I'll probably regret not getting them though, as I'm sure in 3 months they'll be impossible to find anywhere.

Here's a small part of my collection. Jordan I, IV, VII, XII, XI, XIII, & Dunks are my weapons of choice, but I also enjoy Air Max & Pumas for driving.

Nice collection! I like whatever the orange ones (dunks I believe) are.

I'm noticing like 75% of the sneakerhead community is pretty nike-centric.

That makes me like the "inuit eskimo" of the shoehead world, I suppose....like if we had to check a box on Sneaker SAT's.
