wow what the hell.. i started a thread like a year ago asking if anyone was on NT or a sneakerhead and it pretty much died out..

anyways whats up everyone, i used to be really active on there (username "m tr4nch" also) since sept '02, until a few months before my 17th bday and realized i needed to save money for my car lol.. im mostly into older af1's and dunks, and a lot of the old school basketball sneaks. i got the air max 90 and air max 1 bug a little while ago too, and started picking up some of the OG jordan colors that were being retroed. also random adidas stuff here and there.

some things ive contributed on niketalk: i started the original af1/dunk shoe templates (to fill in your own colors to see what it would look like), and painted the infamous pair of indy day af1 lows.

when i first started collecting back in '02, the whole scene of collecting nikes and whatever was really starting to change. so much to the point of nike turning out shoes that were pieces of shiit so i've pretty much slowed WAY down in buying stuff since i realized that, and tried to get as much older stuff as i could (when quality was awesome).

also, i dont mean to sound like a d!ck or anything but all you "new" dunk sb people = bandwagon.. thought i'd never say it but thats what it seems like to me. oh well, everyone's gotta start off somewhere right?

anyways, heres a pic of my 112 pairs collected over the last 5.5 years:

m tr4nch....Awesome collection, very well done Im only 18 in 1.6 yrs. but you have a big head start. I to feel as though some SB guys are bandwagoners. I know so many people that were AF1 heads before the skateboard movement, now they cant touch AF1's cause they "love" SB's so much. But bangwagoners will be bandwagoners.

some random ones i forgot:vandals, blazers, air rev's, 2 dunks

my air force 180's: (still need the black/blue's)

air max's:middle and right are my id's (back from '06 when they were $90 each )also still trying to get a pair of hufquake am90's and am1's from ebay or something but prices still seem kinda high to me :/

my adidas campus/master st collection:zomg these shoes are the most comfortable shoes i have EVER worn

adi racer's, tuscany's, forums, attitudes, jmj's, broughams, and superstar clr's:

I feel like a bandwagoner when all the people that have been collecting for longer than 3 years come in. Everybody does have to start somewhere though, even if it might seem some people are bandwagoners now, they might be the people still collecting years later while everyone else stopped.

But I honestly don't like many of the Dunk SB's there are quite a few that I like but I'd way rather have a pair of retro basketball shoes.

So please sell me those GRAPES!!!

They are called Puma "El Rey" The King in spanish. They just normal dress shoes kinda like Lacosta/Converse style.

true, i know what you mean. a lot of it is just hype and people cant think for themselves what looks good. personally i think most of the colorways nike has been putting out the last year or so have been but then again in the end for them its all about money, sad but true

anyways, nothings for sale except for my extra ds pair of sz11 white/cement jordunks. what size are you anyway? most of my stuff is 11-12 but recently i have been realizing my foot's more like a 10.5. i used to like a bit of room back when i first started but now i like the snug fit.

Haha I'm a sz11 too but I can fit 10.5 if there non-SB's or any highs.

Damn I really want Grapes so bad but they're getting so hard to find. I guess I'm just going to have to get Green Bean V's.

I wanted the grapeV's sooo badly too, I passed on the Playoff 8's I felt they were too plain plus I already had an OG 8 so I was cool. Nike has been coming out with the worse selection recently. AF1+Jordan Fusion are really . I mean they look so fake it kinda rediculous. P.S.-Pumas are only really good for driving not everyday walking. Just my .02

8's are pretty ugly IMO but for some reason I like X's.

Also AF1+Jordan fusions are some of the ugliest I've seen. They ruin great shoes to make pure crap.

Nike needs to slow it down for a year and look back at what's worked for them in the past.

*sigh* If I had money, I'd have 2 new pairs of shoes. Marshall Hi's and Green Bean V's. Paying for school and books sucks!!

Also Where do you guys go to shop for sneakers that's local to you?

I go to this awesome skateshop called GSA here for SB's and for more limited non-sb's I go to Motive 807. For GR's I just go to like Finish Line or Champ Sports. Other hard to find stuff that's not local I go online for.

I also upset that the only Jordans worth buying are in Package deals it sorta stupid to me, I cant afford 400 beans when I want some new shoes, it upsets me because 10+13 pack is sick. And the 9+14 pack is mean. I want them both. Good shoes w/o b.s.

Nowhere, I only shop online.

Limited Edition 574's are NOT an easy thing to find if your city lacks any tier-1 retailers (as D.C. inexplicably does....).

Go to Journeys they always have lows on sale that they've had for a while. Otherwise you aren't gonna find them for much cheaper.

Journey's for sure if you like buying shoes in person. About a month and a half ago they got new dunk highs in, pretty good colorways too.

^^ Yeah they got the Bo Jackson inspired ones. They were pretty nice. Blu/Wht/Gry/Blk colorway and also a Crims/Wht/Gld pair, but they are both retail. They should definitely have some older ones for a good sale, like 50 bones.
