Yeah, I've never owned a pair of dunks, so I can't personally comment if they're more/less comfortable than 574/576s.

I tend to like more of a running shoe aesthetic than a basketball shoe aesthetic, but there are some dunks that I think look nice.

I might get a pair of Sambas though, which would be my first non-NB shoe purchase in awhile. Everyone says great things about them.

Never owned any Sambas, but in response Dunk are so comfy to me. They bring the style of Jordan I's, but with more comfort. When go for running shoes I go after Air Max 90-95.

Samba's seriously comfortable as hell. And if you play soccer they are great, even if u skateboard. I use them for nything with skateboarding they have awesome grip and u feel the board alot better but it doesnt have the extra padding to protect the feet like skateboard shoes.

they will feel weird at first but u have to break them in and then they fit like a glove. My pair of samba's have lasted me a long *** time. They take alot to rip considering i wear mine all the time and not one rip

Damn that's a great collection, loving the Mars Blackmon IV's.

That makes me like the "inuit eskimo" of the shoehead world, I suppose....like if we had to check a box on Sneaker SAT's.
Yeah I've noticed that too but since I came in a little late (after pink boxes), the newer Nike releases are not that great so I'm looking at other sneakers. Like Creative Recreation and Clae.

Creative Recreation Dicoco

I dunno what you guys do w/ those shoes, do u collect them? Here's my collection that I actually wear. My daily pair is downstairs though, they're well broken in lol. The garage shoes are really nasty.

Ya that's blue suede pumas, and the DVS pair I just picked up for 10 dolores!

ok so I never wore the ugly addidas b ball shoes so maybe they'll be worth something one day just like the other ugly shoes in here

I love high tops, 2nd to mids. I usually don't like a shoe if its heavy, such as Air Force 1's those things are like boots and they're stiff too...I despise Air Forces.

After reading all 4 pages of this thread I was shocked to see how many sneaker lovers we had. Ya'll love sneakers as much as I love jewlery...

I personaly own a million pairs of Flip Flops. and only one NB tennis shoe (165 bucks) for when I absolutly have to put a sneaker on, its just so hot down here I dont like things on my feet.

I couldnt believe how colorfull they make shoes now a days. I guess I'm way out of the loop.

My basketball shoes really go through it too...I hate bulky ball shoes like the Lebrons though. My personal favorites were the 1st shocks and most recently the Total Packages so light, I love them perfect for PG perfection!!!

yeah, foams are ftw. super stiff on your first wear, but after they're broken in they're comfortable as all hell. but speaking as a highly competitive basketball player myself, jordan 22s are THE best. 21s were amazing when they first dropped, and 22s took all of the great things from the 21 (grip, cushioning, etc.) and improved on all of it's downsides (breathability, etc.)

but yeah, on a side note.. I'm selling some heat if you guys are interested..

hit me up. lmk if you need pics. i'll give you that Nico discount I've got plenty of refs on NSB.org and ISS.com under the name "jus10", and like 96 feedback, 100% positive on ebay under username "doesntmahsnsuk". def better than those rape @ss hypebeast prices. 951.454.3221

I saw Gourmets on highsnobiety, they look alright but I wouldn't buy them.
iwantans13 wrote:But dude, 2 ankle straps? WTF?
Yeah that's the only thing I don't like about them but I most likely wouldn't actually use them.

Also new basketball shoes are ugly!! Pretty much all of them are, that's why I buy retroes.

^Agreed, most new basketball shoes are too over-the-top, its getting rediculous. Simplicity is always a plus.

Wow, those are nice. I usually like anything/everything Gravis, and these are no exception.

I actually just ordered their PSP case.

They're ugly! I like the retro basketball shoes though. There's a few new ones that I like but most IMO just look bad to me. It's just their designs that bother me.
