My just installed my CA. Got everything wired up and ran it just to check for engine knock and and all that. It ran alright. Came back the next day to flush the coolant because God knows how long that cast iron block sat. Now it doesn't even try to fire. I checked fuel pressure, injector signal, and spark. It has 12 volts going to the ECU also. Any ideas?

Have you checked your fuses. Especially the goofy looking ignition fuse in the engine bay.

If you have spark and fuel, it should start unless your timing belt skipped few teeth. Inspect your timing belt and make sure it is set correctly. If still doesn't start, your injectors probably got clogged with the crap that was in the fuel rail, get yourself some quick start and spray inside the intake and give it a try, hopefully it should get your car started and continue to run.

fresh spark pluts and fresh gas go a long way... starting fluid defenitely helps get her fired overspray a shot in each cyl when you are changing the plugs.

well, I hooked up a noid light to the injector signal at the injector and got no signal but the wire has continuity. I checked the signal at the ECU earlier and it was sending one.

What I can't figure out is why it won't even pop on started fluid. I have pulled the spark plugs and they were producing spark (they were a little fouled but not enough to keep it from firing. They looked bad from all the cranking.

I compression checked it and with dry cylinder walls I got 120. Not great but I am sure it will go up once I run it.

My only guess is maybe a ECU? All my fuses are good. THere isn't away to get the crank sensor out of time. If the computer is firing the wrong hole.

The injectors should have constant power on one wire, and the ground wire is the actually one that pulses which is controlled by the ecu.

remove your timing belt cover off and inspect your timing to make sure your timing is set correct. Also I suggest that you replace your sparkplugs.Your compression test will improve after when you get the car running. Compression test should be done when the engine is worm.

Good luck,PULSAR GTRRafi

are you sure that little tab hasn't broken off on the exhaust cam and your timing isn't off?

try pulling the fuel pump fuse and starting without it in. if it starts then stalls you should be able to replace the fuse and then it will start ok
