I get out of the 91 hatchback and shut the door and notice there is a gap between the side panel and the hood.

The hood was about 1/8 of an inch higher than the side panel where the two meet at the hinge of the hood (in front of the side mirror) on both sides????? I put the palm of my hand on the hoodand pushed down and it sunk back nto place. WTF??

Caqrs never been wrecked. Is there some play in that hinge joint for some reason?

Yea, there is a bolt on both sides of the car... It might not be tight, and is staying up a little bit? i dont know, i just know i had to play with those alot while putting on my cf hood to make sure it looked strait
