Bumping up this old dead thread, I'm looking to swap some LS2 truck ignition coils into my red top RB20, I see a lot of information about making sure the dwell is adjusted, etc, etc, however I have no way to control this on the red top system, there is no aftermarket support for my ECU (can't be reflashed). If I install the coils just as they are, will I have any issues with running the vehicle with the OEM dwell? Thank you in advance for the help.

It will run fine at the OEM dwell, your stock ecu will throw a ignition code since you are getting rid of the ignitor.
