I dropped my CA in today and the SSautochrome O2 elbow for a SR on my SR AR/.80 turbo is angled toward the unibody rail, so when i try to bolt up the SSautochrome SR drownpipe its atleast a 1/2 inch off and hitting the body and rail.any input would helpthanks

PS: im thinking its just cause its SSautoCRAP

the SR and CA elbows are totally different, the SR one will work if you have the 4-1 manifold and custom downpipe to account for the different flange configuration

so the 4-1 custom manifold puts the turbo in a diferent place? not in the same place as the stock manifold? hmmm so how come i hear everyone using the t25 off a SR on the stock manifold and just clocking it a few degrees?

i dont think it has anything to do with ppl not using the sponsors, your just trying to plug them. the problem is ppl are cheap, and they buy cheap stuff, then complain when it doesnt work, granted you said your friend gave it to you, which is cool, but you get what you pay for, and SSAC is cheap, and so are the parts, they are not put together very well. its something you have to deal with if you are not wanting to pay the money for quality parts.

YES. you have to run their manifold with the o2 housing and downpipe. The megan o2 housing and downpipe combo you can run with the stock manifold and it fits really well. I just installed one of those today, and the fit and finish is very nice looking.

you clock the compressor housing, not the exhaust housing. Clocking the turbo doesn't move where the o2 housing or downpipe sit, just the compressor side moves.

haha fred, thats not a very good plug seeing not a single vendor sells CA18 stuff. SSauto is the only company that makes a readily available CA manifold

ok ok lol, trying..

maybe we can get our vendors to carry some stuff. why dont the CA Mods/Members come up with a list of CA stuff you want carried and we let our sponsors know..

Fred..

my compressor side is clocked and on the stock CA manifold.so i ordered a Greddy divided SR turbo extension/elbow/o2 pipe. im hoping this will fix my problem but now em i gonna have to buy a SR downpipe (IE:Greddy)because my SSautocrap downpipe only works with ss elbow and ss mani.?i just need to know asap so im not waiting to order and then waiting to buy yet another exhaust piece.

nah, to the best of my knowledge the downpipe is OK, its the o2 housing thats meant to be used with the manifold. Because people have used just the manifold and o2 housing together but on a different downpipe.

thanks sean id prefer not to spend another 150-200$ so im gonna try the greddy elbow and the xs power/ssautochrome downpipe together. I saw a place online selling RS*R SR turbo to catback pipe for 160$shipped and now im sorta wishing i bought that instead of the greddy, but im hoping the divided greddy will preform better and flow nicer

I run the SS manifold with megan racing 02 and dp and it hangs lower than the frame rail and the angle is a bit messed up, but it fits ok other than that...

I've also found that the SSAC trust style (not divided) elbow fits fairly well with the 4-1 manifold

thats wonderful for people with ssauto manifolds, but im not into replacing my manifold after it cracks(yours might not have yet but it most likly will), im in it for the long run lol

just giving tips on what fits, I've fitted 3 of these in the last 2 weeks

I'll probably throw on a MK1 SSA manifold as a temporary measure, but I plan on making my own, that way it WILL fit and it WILL NOT crack
