no, im not in texas, im in south carolina. I know torque plates are hard to come by but luckily the machine shop that i had my work done at had one from a previous customer.

Hey guys. I was the one doing the install with klatter about a week or so ago. The setup is really sick. im guessing probablr around 350 with pump gas. For those who didnt know..this is the same turbo chris may used...not one like it...the exact one...and its pretty nasty. hey klatter...you forgot to tell em about the connesting hhoks for the atp wrap, and the "snkae hose" for the bov. j/k - sorry i missed your call...i left a message...get back at me so i can take a ride in that BEAST!!

Hey, nice setup! What was involved with piecing together your own kit? What little odds and ends did you have to buy, and where did you get your turbo from?

thanks,kyle

i pretty much used the standard base Fmax Stage 2 setup but then i bought my turbo, bov, fuel management stuff related all separate. The turbo is a turbonetics t3/t04e 60 trim compressor with .63 ar turbine with stage 5 wheel. I got it from Chris May himself but you can get this turbo pretty much anywhere.I knew i would never save up enough money to buy a turbo kit for $4000 straight out.I first bought my manifold and downpipe for $300 used and then bought everything else separately. I called up Fmax and ordered there intercooler system since it fit directly with the way the manifold with the turbo is oriented.Josh,I'll give you a ride in it in a few weeks. I can tell you right now its a big improvement at even 5 psi. Boost controller goes on in the next week and half along with dynoing. Thanks for your help. Just remember function over form!HA HA

i got the oil lines from Fmax also. You can search for anyone thats built there own kit and they can tell you the exact fittings and length of line and such you need.Orion is good with this stuff.I had the machine shop that built my block weld a fitting in the oil pan for the oil return.

I used 1/4 inch brake hardline for my oil feed. Bent it up nice. but I did do it when the engine was hanging on a hoist. It would be extremely difficult to do it with the engine inthe car.
