Alright, so I know this is been asked to death but I need to look into it just a little more. I'm currently in the middle of a TT swap and have run into major problems with heads because the engine had a blown head gasket which literally melted part of the head. Now I need to get more head work done. The block also ended up needing bored. I was originally planning on swapping this engine in and having around 300 hp (Stock). However, now that I'm balls deep in this build, I was thinking about just waiting on the TT swap and go further and push more power. This will of course take more money and time and I want some power in the mean time.
My plan is to throw the stock turbos on the NA for the time being. I'll run the TT ecu, fuel pump and injectors. I have a boost controller and will plan to just leave the stock wastegates alone so it shouldn't push over 7psi. My thinking is worst case, my engine blows. I have two others but with larger injectors and fuel pump and low boost I think I should be ok. I just want more power until my end goal is reached. Does this sound feasible or has my need for power fogged my mind?
