I mean really! Do you think these have ever really saved someone's life? I hate them. When they first started putting them on cars you could peal them off. I pealed Rambo's off, even though it did leave some sticky residue. Has anybody ever tried to get some visor fabric and glue it over these or anything to cover it up?

I had a good friend that had a head on collision in a new Chevy SUV. I really don't remember which one it was, but it was an expensive truck. Her airbags didn't deploy. She was hurt really bad. She wanted to try to sue GM but no lawyer would take her case because they have so much money and so many powerful lawyers. This world is insane. :tisk:

I don't care for them either, but I've learned to live with them on both of my cars since I've heard widely mixed results for removing them. Are they actually an integral part of the visor now, or is it still a sticker.. just a better one? Some folks have reported success using Goo-Gone or Nail Polish Remover to rid themselves of these hideous decals, but I've yet to hear of a universally effective solution.

Yeah, I've heard about using goo-gone, nail polish remover, etc. to get rid of them.

I'm guessing they're from the same kind of nanny state federal regulation that gives us t-shirts with the neck label comfortably printed on the fabric, but fabric care labels made from recycled razor blades sewn into the side seam with fishing line.

I've found that the latest side seam labels can't be cut completely out without compromising the seam.

Gotta warn everyone to protect them.....usually from what you can't protect them from, themselves.
