Altima 08 Moonroof leakage

I have 08 Nissan Altima with Moonroof , anytime it rains i see water in tray just under the moonroof . Is it common to have water in the tray ? has anyone had this problem before ?

If anyone has Altima with moonroof , please slide the shade cover when it rains and let me know if you guys find water in the tray

Hello Sam,

I have a 2008 Infiniti G35XS and have had only nitemares dealing with the leak in the sunroof as well as the smug dealership. Yes it does collect in the tray area but also spills over onto the fabric area as well as sprays on your neck when going through power wash. Perhaps your problem is different then mine?

Hi Sam -

Post this question over in the Altima section as well - you'll get more responses from over there.

I have an 08 altima coupe and have never experienced this issue myself - most people have problems with noises coming from the area, but that's about it. I would take it to the dealer and have them look at it becuase this is not normal activity and should be repaired under your warranty.

technicall service bulletin, go to you dealer and get it fixed under warranty
