Hey guys, I'm looking to change my rims and was told to check out ALT. I was told they're pretty cheap. I'm sure most of you are going to say you get what you pay for, and I do understand that they probably aren't going to be of amazing quality.

Has anyone even heard of em? I certainly havent, so I'm curious as to if anyone knows of the actual quality instead of me speculating.

Oh yeah, and I know nothing about rims and what they should/shouldn't be made of, so forgive me if this thread is retarded. Please.

When it comes to wheels you pretty much get what you pay for. A lot of the cheaper wheels may look good when they're new, but give it a couple of months of everyday use, and you will see the quality & durability. Cheap wheels are also heavy in general. Expect to lose some performance out of your car. In my opinion, save the extra cash and buy nice ones!

I had ALT rims on my Eclipse and was happy with them. They were ALT 7's which I think just stood for 7 Spokes. At the time I was 17 and chose them because they were cheap. But as far as wear and tear goes they were fine, they came with Nitto tires that I wasn't to happy with but overall I think they were a good buy.

Yeah I was gonna go with the Axis Shine, but was thinking about going with the ALT's to get off the stocks and change up the look a bit. Until I get the money for the Axis' that is.
