Well here is the problem. The Alternator works great. I broke the stud or whatever you call it on the side of it. It's where the wires attaches to for a charage for the battery. I know I cant really explian this very good. I tryed to use the screw on the back and it keeps shorting out and blowing my alternator fuse. I just need that screw or that hole black piece. I SUCK. My swap is pretty much done theni run into this ****ty problem.

is the part bolting to the alt broken? that black part can be detached and a new one from another nissan alt put on, if you broke the stud thats in the housing itself that will be a real pain to fix. i would suggest taking it to a place that rebuilds alt and starters locally and see if they can help out.

i have made a setup to run a DOHC KA alt but its a one off late night ghetto thing haha. i went through 8 KA alts before finding a good one laying around the shop.
