Well half German, half French mods crush threads under a jackboot when they get too "heated" and there is no waiting period, so cut it out I have never used a serpentine belt on a CA, three standard ribbed belts only.

So was the steel IC tubing just a cheapo $ saver or is there actually a benefit to using that instead of aluminum?

I only ask because advance has that stuff really cheap over here...

It is pre-bent. I will cut to to fit and TIG weld it.

There is no real reason run AL piping on his set-up. It wil be lighter and better heat transfer, but nothing that will help for the extra money. He got a good deal on the piping.

The advance piping (to my knownlegde) is not mandel bent, so the bend willl have a small I.D. then the piping.

He has worm clamps, but getting t-clamps (he better).

You know a lot of Top fuel/ funny car teams run that. They are not sponsored by them either.

Whats your take on it?
