okay so when i bought my truck one of the front left wheel bolts was sheared off, i didnt think much of it and it didnt make a diffrence until i switched to my bigger and new wheels tires. in the beggining the wheel would just keep coming loose and i would have to jump out with my trusty tire iron and tighten them just an annoyance really but then this morning, stating of to my first day of work for the season, it started doing the same ol same ol so i jumped out tightened it down and a lug sheared off :frown: so i tightened the rest of them down drove for another 15 min or so and started comin loose again, so i hoped out and two more popped off :wtf2: by this point im only 15min away from work so i just was hoping to hobble there and worry about it after work so down to 3 left in no less than 100 yards i heard the last one pop off and truck just started to shake really bad  so lesson i learned from this is make sure i have all six lugs on my wheel if its oversized...so lost a whole days worth of work and $15 parts

Could it be the wrong style lug nut for the type of wheels you have? I had that problem with the front wheels on an 86 720 Dually I used to own back in the day.

i had the stock lug nuts on pro comp 15x8 wheels all my other wheels seem solid but this one was already missing a stud when i bought it so im thinking that was the root of my problem.
