yes, first pic (wire colors White / Red / Blue / Yellow / Green) IS the fuel injectors dropping resistor connectorQuote » i hope this helps me get this figured out[/quote]the second one looks like the coil pack subharness connector, this goes to the coilpacks. It would have Red, Red/Blue, Red/White, Blue/Red, and Red/Green wires on it if thats the case.

However, it looks like you have it plugged in correctly to the coilpack subharness (the dropping resistor wouldn't have that black loop, but the coilpack subharness does), not the dropping resistor, so where do you have the dropping resistor plugged in?

If you look at the links I provided (assuming you know how to read the wiring diagrams, which can be a bit mind numbing to just look at) you'd have been able to see this.

i looked over those diagrams and yes f28 is fuel injectors dropping resistor but it does NOT show me where it is located, what it looks like or what its wired to. i used that diagram to install my harness but yet i still have NO idea where the fuel injectors dropping resistor connector is or what it looks like. can someone be a little descriptive? maybe give me a place to look or a clue to what im looking for? maybe someone can circle the area on this pic of the spot that the fuel injectors dropping resistor is located(just an idea)

also how come this plug is pinned with 5 wires for fuel injectors dropping resistor 4 injectors whats the 5th wire for?

dude I told you! in my last post, the first picture! THAT IS IT!!!

unless someone really ****ed up the harness rewiring / lengthing for LHD / USDM install, THAT is your dropping resistor connector.

you already said you have it plugged ni someplace, WHERE is it plugged in, WHAT color wires on that plug, because its NOT the correct plug and something else should be there; unless somone really botched the rewiring/lengthening of your harness.

The dropping resistor is a rectangular shaped, metallic (sliver/aluminum) colored box. It has a bracket that is attached to it, that holds the plug that goes into that plug that Bio talked about.
