Just wondering if there could be some kind of freaky electrical thing going on, but it seems like a long shot.

So I put my remote in my mouth while I had the door open, it locked, and the alarm when off. I pressed the unlock button, and it turned off.

I got in the car a couplek hours later, started it up, and it's all shakey and the check engine light is on. I got code 51, injector analysis. So...is there some way this could be related, or did an injector just happen to die at the same time? Thanks for any help.

That code doesn't necessarily mean you need to replace an injector. Isolate the suspect injector by doing an Ohm test. Your inkector should be in the 10-14ohm range anything outside this range is a fault. swap out an ingnition coil and see if that fixes it. Sometimes failed ignition coils result in that particular code too.

Heh, I know it sounded ridiculous, but I dug up another thread where a guy said his alarm went off and he couldn't start his car, so I thought I'd throw it out there.

It's at a shop right now. I reaaallly hope they don't have to pull the plenum. I have very few tools and no workspace really. Ouch.
