Alabama people, some links for you.

http://www.aldrift.org An up and coming website (currently just a forum) that`s all about drifting. Started by a group of Bham local guys.

http://www.240sxforums.com/for...66626 The AL thread at 240sxforums, a small group of us have been talking in here on a daily basis for years now. The current thread is at 181 pages... I doubt anyone would want to read all that, but you`re welcome to if you wanna get caught up on some of us.

http://www.alabamaracingscene.net Basically just what it says, a greater portion of everyone in AL who has an internet connection and an interest in cars comes in here to talk about anything and everything with other "car" guys. There`s an s13 silvia K`s for sale on here, right this second.

http://www.alabamagz.com The Alabama G/Z/240 club. Just another community of guys with Nissans who hang out pretty frequently and go to car events together.

I will be moving into huntsville in about a month with my 91 coupe (stock), with big plans for the near future. I hope you guys know of some good parts suppliers and mechanics locally. I would love to know where nissan people go to hang in the area. Are there any drag strips, or drift/racing tracks in the Huntsville area? See you in a few weeks

Have fun in Alabama, and I'm sure you'll find ALOT of Huntsvegas guys on here, so they'll direct you in right direction.

Shift...I get off around 4:30, yeah say about 5 ish at Michael's parking lot.

Well mods? lets see, no big plans yet. I only had it for about 3 months, but i like to keep it simple and clean. So some 17's (black or bronze w/ chrome lip) a front lip or m1 bumper, side skirts, not a whole rear bumper but those that only attach on the rear sides. i am going to stay away from bolt ons right now, cause i really want a SR.But on the other hand i will be getting my B&M shift kit tomarrow, and i just ordered these front side markers, JDM tyte!

What are you planing on with your 240

For now I'm trying to get a black chuki coupe from this guy in TX, so if I get that one I'm gonna get an SR swap done at teh local shop. After that I wanna get some 5zigens or Rays wheels along with a 5-lug conversion and some z32 brakes.

Almost forgot teh SILVIA CONVERSION with teh brick headlights! Silvia headlights FTMFW!

Yeh, I know. I've been REALLY lucky so far, but sooner or later my luck's gonna run out. I gotta change my oil and change my front brakes on my car this weekend, but afterwards I might go on a little drive. I'll call you up and see if you wanna go.It was great finally meeting you in person!

I live in Mobile. Been here since Jan, just haven't been on the forums. I just sold my 240 (blue 93, super hicas car, rb20 swap, ssautocrap exhaust mani, t3/t4 .53/.70, front mount, 255 walbro, 440 cc injectors, full poly bushings, etc., etc.). Now I have a 93 hardbody that is fully bagged, painted and all, which is for sale. Good to see some alabama peeps on here.

From Japan, came in the mail with like 30 stamps and crazy writing. A big green customs stamp on it. I ordered them from one of those Egay stores, really great guy that owns it, i have been chatting with him every now and then. He told me i could get a deal on what ever else i purchased. I paid a total of 57.00 dollars that incluced shipping.I like them because they are different, just a sutle change and sticks with the clean stock look i am going for. I figured out what was rattling on the B & M shifter, it was the cap that pops into the top of the knob. I am going to apply a little silicone and fit some hard rubber in the space inside to knob and the stick.

Glad you found out what the noise was. That would have annoyed me to no end! Good idea with the silicone.

This guy from AL Drift has an FC and he's gonna be in Decatur this weekend. I'm prolly gonna me up with him if you wanna come.
