Okay, so I went to AIT yesterday to see what was up with everything. John showed me the finished front end and it looks exactly like the kit on the blue sedan in the above posts ^^. After seeing it up close, let me tell you, the build quality on that thing is superb. It even has this genuine carbon fiber lip along the bottom of it, which looks super sick. The rest of the kit I'm not going to say whether I personally like it or not, but that lip is the business.
As for the rest of the kit, they are still working on it. They're putting together skirts and a rear bumper. I didn't really get to see the skirts because they are still tinkering with different ideas, but I did get to see a concept of the rear bumper, and I think you guys will be pleasantly surprised. Again, I'm going to reserve my own opinion, but I'll just say it looks pretty much like the back of a real GTR. It will be an option for those of you who think the ED rear is a little too agressive. John said they're thinking of keeping the carbon fiber theme going, but doesn't know how to incorporate it into the skirts/rear bumper, which is why it's taking so long. That carbon fiber accent really is nice-looking though.
In other news, their original 5pc kit they made is under production in their overseas factory. John said it should be available by mid-September, but you know how that goes. He also told me that he's heard a lot of interest in that trunk with the molded wing, so he's decided to make it in both carbon fiber and fiberglass also available in September. He's also producing a carbon fiber roof overlay, which is still in development, and he showed me a finished carbon fiber roof wing. It sits at the top of the rear window. He also said something about a carbon fiber hood, but he could have been talking about an existing hood, or maybe he's making one of those too--I didn't ask. Either way, AIT is becoming a powerhouse when it comes to A/C body mod offerings, so show AIT and John some love.

Oh, and I also mentioned something about how people on the forum were expressing interest in a wide body kit, or at least some wide-body fenders, and he said he might consider it, since ED is the only company right now offering any kind of fender. So, if any of you are interested in a wide body kit or wider fenders, you should email or call them and push it. I wouldn't mind being able to fit 19x9.5 +10 wheels with fat a** lip, now that I think about it either.
On a side note, AIT had some guy's GTR. They are working on a wide body kit for it. It was on stilts with all the body panels taken off... I cried a little on the inside seeing that.
And I know what you guys are all thinking... PICS???!?!?!?!? I... uh... forgot to charge the camera... so... uh... I don't have any. sorry! sorry! *scampers away*
