I'm looking to buy an APEXi, HKS, or Blitz air filter to help the engine breath easier. I realize the SR intake kit wouldn't fit. What i'm wondering is which company sells the adaptor that will fit the CA MAF? Is there any website that I can buy online?

Thanks!

Just get a KAE adapter plate off ebay for like $5 and redrill the holes if necessary. Then you can buy a K&N for like $40. Apex/HKS/Blitz are a waste of money.

Agreed. I bought a KA24E maf adapter, slapped on a KA MAF and a K$N 3" inlet cone filter, and called it a day. Cost me $60 including the MAF, and is great. Those $100+ air filters are a joke.

uuum.. ive got a hks CA filter adapter if you want it. its actually on the MAF with most of a hard intake pipe kit. all you would need to do would be to cut the rubber hose your original intake pipe was made of at the right spot and clamp on this pipe. gave me no problems (except for it maxing out so easy with my setup).

ill be glad to sell the adapter to you for the price of shipping or something. or if you want the whole intake thingy ill be glad to sell that to you dirt cheap as well.

i almost forgot to mention, i dont have the mounting bracket for the adapter as i am using it with my new setup. its nothing a drill and a few pieces of bent scrap metal cant solve... or a zip tie but just figured i should mention it. anyway, if your interested shoot me an email at [email protected] and we can figure this out. youll still have to buy a universal hks filter though (need i mention ebay? you can probably pick one up used for less than $20)

I've got one that I've been using on my CA since I installed the motor. It was a bolt on affair and I didn't have to make any modifications to it. I looked on eBay and found one off of a Pulsar IIRC. I may have been for a KA-E. Anyway, if you don't want Tim's I'll sell you mine for cheap too.
