air bag lite

I have a '94 G20. Whenever the engine is running the air bag lite blinks every three seconds. What could be the problem, solution?

On the Q45, the self test is when you press the door switch more than 5 times within 10 seconds of switching on the ignition....

Funny, because even if you undo the battery, it still shows up....

Its probably on self diagnosis mode, so Id check that outl...

thanks for your help your suggestion worked of course it took me 10 min. to find the lite switch It's great to find someone in these forums who knows what they are talking about thanks again mhartman

it has a fialure thats why the lite blinks. have you had a dead battery recently? if you have had the battery go down on you when the air bag control unit gets low on voltage i think its below 9 volts it will throw a control unit code. if that was the case hit the dealer and have them clear the code to the history section of the air bags memory. the system stores the codes in hard memory thats why you cant clear them by disconnecting the battery. it actually burns the code into a chip.
