woah.. quick update:

1. Selling my nagisa rails...someone email me if you want them. I'll put a post up on the reg 4sale thread later. First dibs to vert guys though.

2. Waiting on my sparco rails (been a damn month already...sheesh), before I install my seats (which I have had for 4 months...sheesh).

3. Woah - looks like those boys at 240sxmotoring.com finally put my customer photos up (btw: and I don't work for them or have even personally met Jeff - but he is super cool and super friendly. Buy from this dude).

sup brotha. You got it - I'll shoot you an email. Looking to actually come down the powerzam shop as well and pay a visit. Nate - do you do just photos or work at that shop too? I'm a little confused as to who owns what, and who does what. Let me see if I got this right:

1. Sal owns powerzam?2. George - the red vert, is also an employee there?3. You do all the photo work for them? Do you work there too?

Yea what he said... You can say, I'm the goto guy when they want photos, video, and advertising materials like flyers banners, or whatever...And we're building up my car right now so if all goes good I'll be running soon too.

Quick update: So I get the balls to put one seat in already. It's a sparco evo 2, made for fatties like me. My equipment list:

1. Megan Racing brackets - like 99 bucks or something on ebay2. 2 sets of sparco side mounts - paid about 50-60 a set, shipped. Again, ebay...and I had to wait for these prices.3.Sparco Evo 2 seats - they come in evo size, evo 2, and evo xl for you real large fatties. This set I copped for $450! Practically new, no rips or tears. Only thing I hate is the color.

1. So, the side mounts suprising fit on the megan brackets, only problem is: The seat is not normal size (at least the base), so I had to slot out the openings on the side mounts and the bracket. I kept doing this trial and error, little at a time...since the less I need to slot out...the stronger the bracket should be. Also to gauge how much I would need to do this before I butcher the passenger set. Here are some pics:

Finished set

Afterthoughts: Maybe it's my car...or just the pair of brackets I had...but just FYI: I had the hardest f'ing time mounting the entire assembly back into the car after I was done. The "240sx megan bracket" didn't seem to line up anywhere with the bolt holes on the floorpan. So, I had to mallet here and there...and even use an impact wrench at one point. the result: A slightly tilted seat. Anyways...after this wednesday I'll come back to look at it. Besides, tilted right is not so bad anyway...since I'm always leaning my elbow on the center console. It just looks madddd gay from the back though - you can tell the seat is tilted.

also fyi: Even on the lowest setting, I still feel the seat is a bit higher than stock...even with the cushions out. For those of you who don't know...I tried using a set of nagisa rails before which was impossible with a wide seat like this. Again, I'll come back to this height problem later.

OMG!! I SOOO needed that pic! I was gonna post a thread about that soon, but you've answered my question! I had the MT conversion done and when I got the car back, the key wouldn't release from the ignition. (Car doesn't register it's in "park"). There is no way in hell I am leaving my car sit *anywhere* with the key stuck in the ignition, even if I *do* have a Viper security system. EFF THAT! THANK YOU!!

Your homie again with some ClubLoose buds. Matt Petty (east coast drifting legend...so they say...) on my left, my homie Odin on my right.

Woah - Chi dog again, chilling with the PowerZamCrew Sal + Chris (chris has that black vert with the cage everyone loves so much).

I got the Tein Flex (uber ghaaaaay - I know). Basically the story goes:

a. I spent maaad hours on craigslist and found a guy selling the flex for 800.

b. He claims they are brand new (yeah right).

c. I go to check them out - lo and behold, those f'ers are brand spankin new. Literally, still in the box...stickers...etc.

How could I say no? That said - I hate these to hell and I don't want them. Nick/Matt @ autoxtreme are always throwing comments about them and (p_ssy coilovers) and honestly, I couldn't agree more.

Hear that kids? Heed my words. Tein Flex coilovers = joke. Don't believe the hype. Cop them greddy's or Tanabe's.

(don't get me wrong, I hear the tein springs are pretty dope though).

Actually, they are Buddy Clubs - I got them as "perpetual loaners" until I get the right deal on some wheels.

I swear - before the season ends:

1. CAGE2. Wheels3. Actually spend some time to dial in some camber4. Maybe get some rods if I got left over loot5. Install that damn boost controller one of these days6. Lose the VLSD and buy a welded diff (do you got one btw?)

but first things first: fix my HID problem.

damn...so much to do...so little time...eh.....

Yo - email me pricing on one of those welded diff's. [email protected] or text me: 347 277 2184
NY was madness as we said it would be lol. I did nothing but run around all day. I had the pleasure of working on nos energy drinks lexus sc300, and than i had to work on the rest of the powerzamcam cars. we had 1 loss in the event and it was the buddy club street car we built. sadly it hit the wall on the most dangerous turn of the course. Sal was driving and he is ok but the car is in ctritical condition. Myself and george hope to start working on her as soon as possible to get her up and running again. to all those who came out to the event thanks for coming and showing your support.-much love Gio

aiite aiite..it's a 6 point. Somethings to note:

1. I decided to go with a nice 6 point (halo...etc) b/c a) I needed the stiffness (insert viagra joke now) and b) the rollover safety factor.

2. There's a few guys I could have got this done from...I opted to commission my buddy Tim to do this b/c:

a. He comes well recommendedb. I wanted to help the dude out with $$$ while he is starting his own fabrication business.c. I absolutely knew he would do a fantastic job since his credibility is on the line.

3. I didn't get the PZC (george aka dukeboy) to do it specifically b/c I chose to help a brother out first (i.e. Tim). That being said, the PZC cages are awesome too (shout out to Chris).

4. Also, as some of you know - I got my seats redone again...since the way I mounted them were shi@t.

Ok, so without further ado...here are some pics (note: the angles of the pics are not that great...so don't be fooled - the seats are not too low - trust me).

Car should be all done this weekend - ready for rippin next week!]

PS: See you all at the next NJ E-town drift event next wednesday!
