Im really looking into a S14 SE but it doesnt have a sunroof. Its just a vanity thing but ive always wanted a sunroof. Is it worth it or not? I mean if its excesevly expensive and/or would add too much weight or sacrefise(sp) chassis regidity ill be happy without it. any help?

Sunroofs suck.

Especially aftermarket ones.

They're one of those options you think will be SO cool, then you realize you never use it.

I got an SE and I have sunroof / black leather and all options.... its really just something differnetIt probably weighs my car down.. lol.. but tis nice to have on a hot day or a cool night.. :-)

I always use my sunroof. In all the cars that i have owned and ever will own, if sunroof is an option , I'm getting it.

I'll sacrifice the extra poundage and ever so slight sacrifice in rigidity for a sunroof.

The day my car fails me because of XX amount of extra pounds, and the ever so slight loss in rigidty, I will stop getting sunroofs.

Aftermarket sunroofs are good if you get a real good one. I chucked about 900 Canadian for a one touch powerslide and it ROCKED.

Didn't leak, and it was so nice having that sunlight coming in through the top of the car...it was slightly tinted of course
