Well, if you can find the plastic piece that covers the third brake light, you'd be all set. Or just take out the bulb, Or create your own third brake light cover.bakerboard wrote:Eh im not a big fan of having 4 lights come on in the back when i hit the break. eBay has several aftermarket spoilers for about $100 painted just like Sentrastace mentioned. I went with the SE-R one because I always loved the way the lip spoiler looks on the G35 and Maximas. I'm so glad I was able to add it on my Sentra. It was my first real mod when I first got the car.Ibarr wrote:Yeah I'm new to Nico and would like to know where else I can get some aftermarket spoilers too. Preferably with LED.
I don't think you really want to do that .... it's looks really dumb with the 4 lights, best to just disable the one on the rear deck IMO. If you still want 4, you'll have to splice the existing brake light wire to the one on the spoiler when you install it.Ibarr wrote:Is it more trouble to relay a new light to have 4 lights including the one on the spoiler? While keeping the existing 3rd brake light.
how about this one?bakerboard wrote:Eh im not a big fan of having 4 lights come on in the back when i hit the break. Im looking for something non-light and has a little space between the trunk and spoiler. Thanks for posting though!
Cool thanks. I just thought about it, it would look pretty dumb with 4. Did you install the spoiler yourself or did you have it done professionally?Faja wrote:

yeah im thinking of getting a spec-v spoiler. so the wirings should be easy. anybody here actually install the spoiler themselves?dgreen29 wrote:you can just unplug the 3rd brake light that is in the back winshield, imo the only spoiler that looks good on the 2.0....is the spec v spoiler lol but thats just me
I had mine professionally installed as it was winter at the time plus with the drilling of holes in the trunk I wanted to make sure that the proper rustproofing would be done also as I've seen lots of DIYs that started to rust at the base of the spoilers. Price was $50.Ibarr wrote:

PS: I got the OEM one but with no light.
That's cool. How much did the spoiler cost? Ebay?Faja wrote:

Yes me too, I had mine done by a pro also during winter time. In addition to being rustproof, didn't want to screw up the drilling or the wiring as the third brake light needed to splice into either one of the taillights or the existing third brake light. I had it done to the third brake light because I didn't want anything to go wrong with the taillights. Soon after the existing third brake light bulb burned out probably because too much power passed through it to get to the 20 LEDs. ??Faja wrote:I had mine professionally installed as it was winter at the time plus with the drilling of holes in the trunk I wanted to make sure that the proper rustproofing would be done also as I've seen lots of DIYs that started to rust at the base of the spoilers. Do you remember what it looked like? Did he have the 07 Altima spolier on it?gforever wrote:I also saw 3 Sentras around town with aftermarket spoilers. 2 Silver Sentras with the one that ABNRML4U posted. I'm not too fond of that one, it looks too plain for me. The other was a White Sentra with the '07+ Altima spoiler which was not bad. However, I still prefer the SE-R spoiler.
Yea that spolier is the only one i like so far. But still looking to explore my options!

It was about $250 here but I didn't want to take the chance of ordering from the US for such an item so I had to bite the bullet on this one. You can probably get it shipped to you for half that price. SpoilerDepot is a pretty reputable company so you can try them - I believe they have an Ebay store too or go to their .com site
Well, at first glance I thought it was an 06 Altima (since our B16 Sentras really resemble the previous generation Altimas & Maximas) but then realize they just it was an 07+ Sentra with the Altima 07 spoiler. To me, it looked ok but I'm biased since I really like the SE-R, Maxima/G35 lip spoiler.bakerboard wrote:Do you remember what it looked like? Did he have the 07 Altima spolier on it?
