Im upgrading my turbo intake to an aftermarket one and ridding the car of the factory rubber intake. My aftermarket intake has ports for the exhaust valve cover breather but not the small vacuum line that feeds from the back of the intake manifold and splits down to the, i believe it the boost control solenoid.

What do i do? Scrap the whole line and cap off everything to the boost control soleniod and basically un plug everything?

If I remember correctly that small vac line is just an ambient air source so theoretically you could just leave it hanging around somewhere in the engine bay.

What about the boost solenoid in general, it gets t'd from that line and then again in to the wastegate line. Can i disconnect it completely? If i just let that hose hang am i going to mess anything up?

There is the link from the FSM, the stock boost solenoid is in the bottom right. You see there is a vacuum line that t's off to go down to the solenoid, then off the solenoid it self splits in two. Once split feeds the wastegate and the vacuum nipple on the housing.

Still with me?

Can i just run wastegate to the nipple?

Cap off the vacuum line that t's to the solenoid?
