Yeah I am still around and am game to help out the euro guys over here. Like TMS said I am a proud daddy of a baby girl so the projects have been sitting. The AE86 + CA18DET is sitting with all the parts just too damn cold and no time.

I am still here though

Thanks DALAZ it is definately a great experience but it doesn't give you a lot of time to do things but I will MAKE TIME for the CA community for anybody who wants to participate in TMS's group buy.

Too many times I have seen these group buys fall flat on its face and it will kind of suck for TMS to go through all this mess for nothing.

So you EURO guys step up I will send your stuff from Germany to make this group buy work.

I will be very keen on one as I'm in the process of buildind a 3/4 chassis datsun 1200 ute powered by a alcohol fed CA18DET ! i'm aim to be Australia's fastest CA powered vehicle which as it stands is Mark bourne with a 8.85 @151MPH,

There was a fella from erics performance parts in the usa who said he was in the process of gettin ati to make a batch of balancers for a ca and that he will get back to me when he gets them, well that was over 8 months ago!

as i said very keen! you get the goods and i'll buy one possibly 2!

if the group buy is big enough to drop the price below 500 add my list to the name, wouldnt mind having one... motor wont be fully built but anything to help it run smoother is good for me... i just need a heads up on when the deadline would be and final cost...

Hey guys!

Was directed over to this rather foreign forum to me concerning a growing interest in getting some quality harmonic balancers for your CA18.

Well as mentioned, Ross Tuffbond does offer an off the shelf unit for the CA18 engines.

Raw Brokerage, is the US distributor of Ross Tuffbond parts and can certainly help our NICO friends out in getting these in your hands and on your engines

Just let me know the details in which the group buy is undertaking (quantity, time frame, etc.), and if intersted in the Ross balancers, I can get to things with it rolling on our end.

To get an idea of what kind of specs these balancers bring to the table... http://shop.rawbrokerage.com/p...d=194

if you have any questions feel free to contact me.

Ross sent me your email but when I tried it got sent back.

Since you are here we can work this right in this thread if you don't mind.

The main questions seem to be.

1. can you offer tiered pricing and if so how many units are required to trigger that?

2. prices?

3. If the balancers are machined by the customer for trigger wheel rings or flying magnet installation is that a warantee violation?

Yea now looking at the email I believe Ross had a typo in my email address when speaking to you.

it should be, [email protected]

For the CA18 Balancer Prices:

1-4 = $4655-9 = $44510 = $415

These prices are in USD, and shipping is an additional $22 anywhere in the continental US. We ship ALL across the world so international ordering is welcomed and can receive their shipping quotes as well through us.

Get 15+ orders among the SR20 guys and yourself and we'll do FREE SHIPPING across the country. So get the word out to your buddies and SR20 owners.

We can set the cut off date for Feb. 18th, which should give everyone time to jump in.

Thanks

great, we look forward to an update.

Members, last quarter of the game, theoretical is past, this is going to happen on some level even if it's just me buying one, so do some soul searching and make the decision about what you want to do when we get the final word. I would suggest you expect to pay $465 plus shipping and hope we can get enough people on board to qualify for cheaper pricing.

I guess I'll start a list of those who are intersted and say two weeks from now I'll allow payments via PayPal till the close date.

If the price decreases from the time of payment, you'll be refunded the difference.

International shipping and ordering please email me for the quotes.

SR20 Balancers will be the same price as the listed CA18 balancer prices.

RB balancers are a bit more, I'll deal with those guys, lol
