ok so a small company in taiwan has agreed to fab adjustable struts for the j30...only catch is i need to send him 1 complete front strut and 1 complete rear for a sample to work off of as well as give him the exact weight of the vehicle...however their asking $550 for the entire set(all 4)since its an up and coming suspension company if this works out they want to try to market the kit however they are unsure how well it will do...i havent quite figured out the shipping cost overseas yet but if i take the hit and get him the samples to work off of who else would want to purchase them???i know several people who have coilover systems on their integras by them and love them...anyways if anyone else is interested please let me know...

hrrrm...$550

depending on the quality, I'd maybe be interested a set since that's pretty much about one piece of OEM

not really.A set off two OEM struts and the rear shocks is pretty close to that. (580)The kicker is you need to replace all the rubber components as well. That brings the price up to about 809

yes youre right...but the benefit is that these are adjustable whereas OEM arent...i dont know what im going to do yet...however all comments and suggestions are greatly appreciated...i love this forum because its all about the J's...i can try and talk to other people about my car or what i want to do and they just shoot me a blank look cause either they dont know what im talking about or theyve never owned/driven a J....

and though a set of 2 does run about 580, this is all 4 for 550....granted when i replace all 4 i am going to have replace all the rubber which will still be and additional 300 but overall id rather pay (550+300)850 do redo all struts as opposed to 880..although ill have to still pay shipping and i might actually be spending more it wont be very much more and ill also have a fully adjustable suspension...i think ill start trying to locate the samples to send to him and see how it goes from there...if anyone else is interested let me know...u think i could get a good front strut and rear shock from a descent junkyard?ill definately keep everything posted

Curb weight for a base J30 is 1576kg

With the "touring" package is 1620kg

Figure out how much of a tarriff the US governmnet is going to charge you for bringing the parts to the USA.

Yeah, I saw that after I posted mine...

that's not bad really...for oem parts

and speaking of oem Joe said $33.69 for the relay from him, so I'm down to $33.69 plus s/h and $30 for labor.

I'm now down to around $600 to what was going to be $1200 in repairs, give me another week and I might be able to get it for less than $500 lol

I'm not a shipping expert but I can just imagine the tarrifs and the cost of putting those pups on a container ship.

O ya, there MIGHT be a cheaper way to do this. My Uncle is an metal engineer in Canada, and he might be able to make some lowering springs if I give him the specs on the OEM ones.........................

But there Y32. Anways. A while back, I saw this J30 on Ebay, that was lowered, and had tv's etc. So I emailed him, and he gave me this website that makes the springs for the J. Il put it up once I find it. They were like $150
