This was my first time hooking up ANY gauge and i wanted to confirm if this kind of activity is normal..

Digital Autometer CFiber AFR gauge:

when i start it it reads nothingafter few mins of warm up--i drive and reads really Leanget on the hwy at 60mph--reads between Lean/Stoichflyin on the freeway 75-90--reads center of Stoichcruisin around in city at 35--reads center of Leanpark and cooling down--reads center to high Lean

is that right?

It should rarely if ever be "lean"

the problem with this is it is a narrow band and hard to call anything close to accurate.

Holla. This is my AFR gauge,

I don't even know why companies make narrow band AFR gauges. They are pretty much useless.

Off throttle and low throttle inputs should be close or just in the lean range. WOT usually is close or in green. Cruising is right where it should be.

at low throttle I dont ever see higher than 14.9........... which still is in the good range, but yes at WOT Im running nearly 11:1...... Ive debated leaning it out a bit to see if it yeilds any gains, but thus far it runs so nice that Im not too worried about it.
