Aight welll guys the time finally came for me to buy my intake. A couple of my friends told me thats if im willing to buy a veryy good intake then i should buy a fujita one, and i asked them why not the aem one and they told me it has bad quality in it or they break too easily or something? The i got this other buddy who told me that if im not tryin to spend alotta money on one then i should buy the ebay ones...and im thinking to myself naaaa..good decision right ?SO my main question is anybody got AEM or Fujita intake and tell me how is their experience with them are?

I have an AEM, and i really like it. I don't know why anyone would say that its not a quality product.

You can't go wrong with either... just avoid the fleabay intakes.

IIRC, Bob @ Versaspeed had the Fujita on sale recently. Dunno if it's still on sale, but you might want to check it out. He carries both.

I have the AEM and love it - It's a very high quality product. The Fujita seems to be manufacturered a little better... it replaces the ENTIRE stock air box setup, while the AEM still utilizes the factory throttle body hose that ran to the stock piping. Probably doesn't make much a difference, but that sale price on the Fujita is nice.

Good call. I doubt that you'll find a better price for a new AEM/Fujita intake than the 190 that versaspeed has right now. Had the Fujita been that price when I bought mine I would have a Fujita instead of an AEM.

i went fujita. I always used aem in the passed great product. i went with fujita to support the b segment, in siphon magazine(its the only magizine that had a versa in it). it has been great so far plus I got a gym bag hat and free energy drink. it was cheaper too.

1.8L is in reference to the size of the motor. The S model, and SL model have the same motor. What you dont want to do, is order the 1.6L for the Nissan Tiida.

your looking for a pretty pipe with a filter. A $50 intake with good filter has the same effect as a $200+ intake with a good filter. In an Intake you should be interested in material, placement of all sensors and hoses, Bends, either Crush, Compression, Or mandrel, how many turns and such angles, and filter type. Dont quote you have K&N, they are not the best filter, just the most bought after FRAM.

If you do alot of city driving, its better to have a plastic intake then a metal one. Why? Road debris, and off the line performance. A metal intake will have issues with head soak sitting in traffic and at stop lights for long periods of time, slowing your takeoffs a good amount, varies by cars. A plastic intake doesnt suffer from Heat soak, so you get proven repeatedly good power off the line as well as highway and track driving.

Well, I read into this and the only thing that I see is that everyone is saying they both are good quality. I want a CAI as well but if im going to get one, I want to get the best. So im doing some research to see which one is actually better. The only thing that I have heard about Fujita is that they are somewhat of a new company but they are holding their own in the intake business. I have had and dealt with AEM and no complaints here, plus its a big name so I know I can rely on them. I will probably end up going with AEM but I want to look into it first.

In the case of the V, the Fujita might be the 'better' of the two as it is a more complete product as per jfanaselle, who usually knows what he's talking about.

Yeah thats true, hes pretty smart from what I've seen. But thats also an easy fix lol. Thats also what Im considering too. But that last AEM I bought (for my 240sx) came with everything, including the body throttle hose.
