I’m sure someone will come along who knows more and give you a more detailed answer. But, you can run about 400hp on stock internals. I’m not sure if that’s at the crank or to the wheels. Anything above that and you’ll damage your engine. As far as how long, it depends on how you drive. I think it’s more about how many miles and not time (how long). Is this car your daily driver? If so, then you’ll be putting quite a few miles on it and you’ll be more likely to run into problems.

400 whp is the limit, and the rods won't like life very much....or for very long

awh i c, ive been reading the post for a few months before i joined, ive noticed you are one of the few SMART people on here. so i was wondering what you would do? basically i wanna have atleast 400whp and still have it as a daily drive, is this legit? and if so what would i have to upgrade? i was thinking building my internals and stuff but im not really quite sure im new to the whole buidling cars and stuff but im very intrested so ive been reading a lot. i guess thats what you get when you send a person out in the middle of the screwing afgan in winter when all the hagis are hiding staying warm in there caves.

Your looking at about 10.5 psi for 400whp.

You will need:

UTEC w/map sensorElectronic boost control solenoidCJM return fuel system would be a good ideaDeatschwerks 440 injectorsStronger clutchImprovised crankcase evacuation system

You'll want to look into:

Eagle rodsSet of 8.5:1 pistonsHKS head gaskets or NISSAN HR HeadgasketsARP L-19 head studsForget the plenum spacer and get the 06/07 rev-up lower plenum.

Go to my350z.com and go to the "forced induction" section and do a search on the list I gave you. There is lots of info in the archives. It will take you quite a while to read it all.
