Advice on Rotors

Everyone,

Tis has been asked I'm sure but I have never replaced brakes before. I ahve big wheels (19s) and the stock brakes look terrible. I understand that a complete brake kit upgrade (AP Racing etc.) is extremely expensive so I think painted calipers and slotted and cross drilled rotors is the way to go.

My question is who makes the best rotors that fit a 08' 3.5 and will these rotors last the terrible Canadian winters?

Please help.
