Advice for 2017 QX50

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Advice for 2017 QX50

Postby m shark » Thu Feb 20, 2020 9:15 pm

Hi guys! I’m looking for upgrading my headlights to LEDs as well as looking for a great set of rims for my 2017 QX50.

This will be my daily driver from now on

Any pics would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

I was also interested in getting a staggered set up for the rims. My Qx50 is RWD. What would be the idea rim size and set up for this? I would like to place 245's in the rear and 235's in the front.

Does your model have HID lights?

I think they're halogens.

There's a forum member here, EX-Kat-35, who has run a staggered wheel setup for quite a while with no issues. I believe she has a set of wheels from a 370Z.

Years back I installed a plug-n-play HID kit in my EX35 when LEDs weren't that popular yet. While the installation may be somewhat different, accessing the low beam portion of the headlights should be about the same. Here are a few threads I participated in.
