Since my rims offset was not to my liking (48mm), I went with some 25mm wheels spacers.

a few things..

depending on your tire diameter, won't you rub with +23 offset wheels when you drop your car? Hit any bug bumps yet... my guess is you'll scrape when going over speed bumps... +23 offset wheels are usualy for rear wheel drive cars... I think someone else on the forum had +23 offsets, and when they dropped, they scraped...

next, 2.5 cm added stress on your factory studs is NOT GOOD!!!! Good luck with this setup... seems like it would have been easier to get the proper offsets wheels though...

+1 you could have replaced the spacer with a nice lip to bring it to the edge like mine!

Yeah for a 25mm spacer hub-centric is pretty vital... 5 or 10mm can get away without it, but 25mm is severe!

I think a 15 or even a 10mm spacer would have worked better on the car, but that looks sick!

Did you change the bolts for longer ones? And don't spacers cost at least $60 per pair?

I could use all the info about spacers because I'm planning to get 10mm ones myself...

Yes they are, I did my research prior to doing this. They are actually wheel adapters.

And the car is lowered. When i bought the rims months ago, I wasnt sure how it would look dropped. Well lesson learned! Not all of us have an extra $1000+ to buy another set of rims

they look way better D-Roll.

and don't listen to the guys about stud stress and and other problems with adapters or spacers. your rolling an altima, not a GT3 at the track all day everyday. so long as there's no rubbing issues you'll be just fine.

D-Roll, don't forget to update us on whether or not you rub when hitting bumps... also, what tires are you running...

Initially, I think we all thought he had actual wheel spacers ...when he originally posted this, he didn't have a picture up or let us know that he was using wheel adapters, not wheel spacers... I don't even think 25mm wheel spacers would fit using the stock studs... but after showing us that these are wheel adapters... then yes, I agree... he'll be just fine!

ahh, 225mm tires... not having that extra 20 mm makes a world of a difference on +23 offset wheels!

most folks with 19's or 20's are running 245 tires... and that's where I think guys were having issues after the drop on +25 offset wheels

your +23 offset combined with 225 tires gives you the same clearance as guys with 245mm tires running a +33 offset wheel.... you are good to go, but I wouldn't advise switching out your tires to 245mm's...

Ok i took a min for me to catch up... spacers are just like a washer, but adapters provide new studs so it gets full contact instead of getting a few threads less contact...

Oh trust me, im not going any wider than 225's

Down the road when I get another set of rims, Im making sure I get the right offset since I've had this time to do my research

exactly! that's why he's good to go, he actually got adapters..

usually, adapters are for folks looking to effectively change the bolt pattern of their vehicle.. 5 x 114 to 5 x 100 or 6 x 100 to 5 x 100, etc.

however, as in this case, they can be used for the same patterned wheel

5 x 114 to 5 x 114... and the sole purpose of this setup is to do exactly what D-Roll did, extend your wheels out another inch or so!

Okay im bringin this thread back to life....lol

D-Roll where did you get your wheel adapters from?

has the ride quality been reduced at all?

Also are there any benefits to adding the wheel adapters for the offset other than just looks?
