I have recently purchased a pair of Recaro SPG fixed back bucket seats to go in my z32. I have yet to buy the brackets because I know nothing about mounting them.

Today I pulled out the stock passenger seat and removed the bracket/slider combo to see what it looked like.

The Recaro SPG's are side mount seats, so I supposed there's no way around the side mount brackets, but I was wondering if anyone has used the stock brackets/sliders with a side mount seat, and what it entailed? I guess it's worth noting that it is a 2+0 with manual levers in case there are any differences.

To me it looks like it would work okay? May have to remove the welded on seat belt reciever, and if none of the holes on the side mount lined up, I might have to drill new holes, but this seems like a much smaller price to pay than the $140 a piece floor brackets.

Has anyone done this? Am I missing something? Any help would be appreciated. Can upload pics if necessary.
