Access DTC for 2003 maxima se
SES light came on and need to know how one accesses the dtc so I can determine what the problem is and how best to address it.

So here are the two codes recovered today by AZ :P0455 EVAP Control System Gross LeakP1448 EVAP Canister Vent Control Valve Open
I'm leaning toward the solenoid valve as the root of my problem. Let me know what ya think. I am unfamiliar with this EVAP system so I will start my homework while I await a response. Any danger in driving it like this?

So just wanted to go on record saying that changing the cannister and vent valved solved my problem (yes I did break both vent valve bolts....terrible design)....changed the gas cap as well...no stone unturned!Anyway, the description on how to access the codes and reset computer worked like a charm...need to be very precise on ones timing here.Thanks to everyones help and this forum. Saved me a bunch of time and headaches. I'll continue to use this site as the need arises!
