Hi, I have a 2011 Nissan Fuga 370GT, model code Y51, known as the Infiniti m70 in the US. There is a slight hestation when I accelerate from a standstill, and after that the gears shift smoothly. However, if I do not press on the accelerator immediately but wait just a second after lifting my foot off the brake and then press on the accelerator, there is no hesitation at all. I have tried cleaning the throttle bodies and the MAF sensors, with no change at all.
Could it possibly be due to an issue with the transmission? Is there any way to reset the transmission software without a trip to the dealer?
Thanks

It's a software issue and how the car was programmed from the factory. An ECU re-tune using UpRev will likely resolve the issue and we have a resident tuner here who goes by the name Seymore4. He completely fixed my cars throttle response recently.

Thank you for that info. Unfortunately we do not have access to UpRev here in New Zealand. Perhaps resetting the ECU as detailed in some YouTube videos may help?

Nah, we've all tried it. We've tried every 'relearn' known to man and it doesn't help unless you fix the actual programming unfortunately.

Its not cheap but I can send you the reflash kit (OBD2-USB cable) and do it all over email. You just need a laptop Windows 8 or newer

It appears I cannot PM you. I Have a K+DCAN cable with USB interface. Will that work? What would be the cost of the reflash?

Got your email, thanks.

So far I've tuned 5 M's since I finalized the new throttle mapping with Uprev (I know some of the developers personally trust me it goes a loooooong ways) and everyone, EVEN the guys who were previously tuned and happy with the results are beyond impressed. Literally it feels like a new car.

I'm interested - I have a 2011 M56S no mods. Can you PM me the cost and process to complete it? - Thanks!

@seymore4, could you describe for us the conditions that the re-tuning will provide a fix for? I might be having the same issue but would like to know more detail about what your fix will and will not do.

It fixes the throttle lag, and makes the car run better faster stronger with optimized fuel and ignition timing
