Hey all, every once and awhile my ABS light decides to turn on. Restarting car gets rid of the light. Should this ABS light be turning on if the ABS decides to activate? or will the light occur only if there is something wrong with the system? I've noticed the issue more ever since I replaced the brake master cylinder (bled the brake lines etc). Brake feels fine, but everyone once and awhile I hear the ABS motor running for a few seconds... sometimes it runs longer and causes ABS light to come on. I forget where, but I remember hearing that some brake lines around the ABS need to be bled.. not sure if this would cause my issue.

Thanks.

Welcome to Nico!
You nailed it- the ABS needs to be bled as well as the brake cylinders when doing brakes on a Z32.
Open the ps cover behind the seats and you'll find the ABS module, which has bleeders on it same as calipers. There is a sequence I can't remember, sorry, for bleeding the system...front to back, but can't recall if there's a side to start on. I did brakes first, ABS next.
Oh, and also having low fluid can also make the ABS light on NA's and the HICAS light on TT's light up intermittently...check that as well as the whole system for leaks.
Good Luck!
